Ashes to Ashes, 1999

Harold Pinter’s play enacts a contemporary game of gender politics. He explores the links between sexuality and fascism. In Ashes to Ashes Pinter portrays woman as the victim of the male brutality Pinter believes characterises our world, but he is careful not to romanticise females.
